And what did they buy? Cart parts. $300 here, $90 there, $200 over there. Fortunately, the money was all credited back to my account by the time I found out and blocked the card. But my question is: Which one of you guys did this?

I can neither confirm nor deny that I had any involvement in this

RamblinRover has to get his hodge-podge should-never-be-mated parts from somewhere. He's banned from most major parts stores.

“Sorry, I don’t have the card I purchased them with. Can you just give me cash?”

I’d say it was me, but that’s not enough money to do a manual swap and fix my 928.

That wasn’t all the charges, but the total was close to $1000.

Can I use your card number to buy a bunch of motorcycle parts? Only about $1500.

Perfect. I have a friend who is royalty in an African country and he’s agreed to let me borrow one of his personal couriers. The courier will arrive at your house in three days to complete the transaction.

I have German cars, so multiply those prices by 2 or 3 times.

Someone pinched my Discover card number recently. They did a test txn w/ Uber (not terribly useful for an Austinite) and then spent $700 on weave hair/supplies.

I’ve seen a car very similar to that in Austin near Cars & Coffee.

Surprised he didn’t buy an RB26 for that money.

I would highly recommend getting a credit card and pay it off monthly with your debit/checking account. Less hassle when this kind of stuff happens, plus you get cash back for grocery/gas/restaurant purchases.

I rarely ever use my debit card, even for getting cash. I only use it at the liquor store to save 5%, and occasionally on the Net to buy power ups for my kids’ video games. That’s likely where it happened.
